Amazing art, mediocre but quite captivating story, but too sadistic and way too info-dumpy.

Gorgeous artwork. Interesting story. Not sure this is the best place to start. If it is, then it just throws you in without explaining anything while remaining intriguing enough to keep the reader interested.
