There are some really wonderful children's books out there, but this isn't one. Not much seems to happen, or maybe things happen but not in a fun way. Plus it keeps saying how dumb Pooh is, which feels mean.
I read a book, but I also watched a cartoon on TV. A beautiful story for children. I like the piglet the most. This is a very nice and sweet character. Piglet has many qualities and is honest, cares about his friends and is affectionate. I think this book is for children, but adults can read it too

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for letting me listen to this copy of the book. I have never read Winnie The Pooh. I used to watch it years ago when I was a child but for some reason never picked up the book. I found it adorable. I have giggled so much for this book than I have for a long time. The narrator was wonderful as well and brought to life each characters!
First time read. I've read all about this book, of course, but I've never read the book itself. Like many people. Characters that make you think, I know him...Doesn't he go to church with me? Excellent. A must read for everyone.
Who doesnt love the cuddly silly ole bear. Ive seen the shows but never actual read the books and im so glad i did. I see there are many more and cant wait to keep diving into this series and pooh bears adventures
4.5 stars — This book feels like a warm hug. A soothing book to read on a rainy day with a cup of tea.
When I was younger, I had a Winnie-the-Pooh bear and used to bring him everywhere with me. To school, to the park, to my Grandparents house. I loved the films too, and yet, despite being an avid bookworm. I had never actually read the books.
So now as an adult, I was browsing through the Gutenberg shelves and decided now was the time to read them. Perhaps a little late, but I'm glad I did. It's a lovely Children's book, with an adorable bear, a host of wonderful of characters and nice hand-drawn illustrations to match.
I'm sure Winnie-the-Pooh will be remain a classic children's story for many years to come. And I'll always be a little jealous of Christopher Robin. You see, I want to live in the Hundred Ache Wood with a cute bear who likes honey. Is that too much to ask?
