4.5Re-read 12/24/19 - 12/30/19This second go around was just as poignant, and rewarding. I love how there wasn't six-pack or billionaire in sight, no fake angst or unwarranted melodrama. Skip & Richie are just as endearing, and I'll surely be reading the other books in the series for any visits with them, and because both Carpenter & Mason intrigue me.First read 12/28/15 -12/30/15Sweet & just a little bit angsty. I really loved Richie and Skip and all that they are able and willing to overcome to find and make a home of their own, creating a family which, for all practical matters, they were both lacking. I love that though fit and young they are just average looking guys with humdrum jobs and bills to pay just like the next guy, and that once they recognize what they have together they're proactive in securing the yearned for HEA. No passive schmos here. Quite frankly [a:Amy Lane 151973 Amy Lane https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1429039455p2/151973.jpg] had me once Hazel made an appearance.
