Starting with a tent, then a little cabin, and finally a house off the grid, six miles down a dirt road, the two women and their miniature long-haired dachshunds face fears, phobias and close encounters with rattlesnakes, bears, wild horses, pot growers and each other. Idyllic? Hardly. Worth it? Absolutely!
