In this poignant, hilarious, and deeply intimate call to arms, Hollywoods most powerful woman, the mega-talented creator of Greys Anatomy and Scandal and executive producer of How to Get Away with Murder reveals how saying YES changed her life and how it can change yours too.

On Thanksgiving Day, 2013, Rhimes' sister told her: "You never say yes to anything." This became a wake-up call-- and a challenge. Rhimes details her one-year experiment with saying "yes" that transformed her life. She reveals how accepting unexpected invitations she would have otherwise declined enabled powerful benefits. When she learned to say yes to life, she learned to explore, empower, applaud, and love her truest self.

I loved this! It's a smart and fun read about being a working mom. Say yes to the things that scare you. Great as an audiobook read by Rhimes.

Loved this book, even though I've never seen any of her TV shows. I wanted her year of yes to go on and on!

This was a funny breezy sort of book that spoke of female empowerment and that we all can have it. Of course, I loved all the asides about Gray's Anatomy but her message is what will stay with me.
