This book could actively harm people reading it. Read any other book on codependency and it will be more helpful. Especially for people just starting their learning journey, this book may cause more guilty, agony or self-doubt than needed. Especially at the start of a somewhat-deep, vulnerable, self-learning period.
Well, this book called me out. I guess I really didn't understand what codependent meant. The first 40% was very enlightening for me. I'm not a fan of religion but the author does a decent job of not judging or shoving religion down your throat.
