See allReally enjoyed this. Ate it up in a couple of days and it was well worth the read <3
As always, I love the art and the story :) They did a really good job of transitioning the comic from webtoons format to book format. Also enjoyed the bonus chapter! Can't wait for volume 2.
“There is no end to the journey of your Magick - you'll always have new things to learn and to challenge you - so remember that you're both capable and powerful. “
This book was an amazing read. Juliet Diaz is very thorough for a 101 book, and encourages you to find your own path while practicing responsibly. I appreciated the steps she took to use neutral terms for certain practices so as not to step on other culture's toes.
The only thing I'm a little sad about that I can't do more of the recipes and spells right of the bat, I'd have to find replacements for a lot of the ingredients, or wait until some of those ingredients came in stock. I highly recommend this book.
I absolutely enjoyed this one. It was refreshing, reads like a conversation and the author's voice really shines through(if you've heard his podcast, it reads like Fire Lyte talks!).
I really appreciated the different take on how a witchcraft book should be. It encourages you to find out more rather than take something as it is, and the spells included are highly customizable.
Definitely recommend for any practitioner!
I really enjoyed this book. The characters popped from the page, and I couldn't put it down. I liked looking into the different characters points of view, and the story progressed nicely. Some things were a tad predictable given the context, but it doesn't ruin the overall story.
