This is a decent beginners book of witchcraft. It is very easy to read, and covers the basics and safety tips before getting into spells. It's definitely a good read for those just starting out. The spells included don't require a lot of ingredients, and seem pretty straight forward.
I fully enjoyed Paige's take on different plants and rocks. The book is very easy to read. Definitely recommend!
Super cute story and artwork. Loving the representation! <3 can't wait for the next volume.
As always, I love the art and the story :) They did a really good job of transitioning the comic from webtoons format to book format. Also enjoyed the bonus chapter! Can't wait for volume 2.
I absolutely enjoyed this one. It was refreshing, reads like a conversation and the author's voice really shines through(if you've heard his podcast, it reads like Fire Lyte talks!).
I really appreciated the different take on how a witchcraft book should be. It encourages you to find out more rather than take something as it is, and the spells included are highly customizable.
Definitely recommend for any practitioner!
Really enjoyed this. Ate it up in a couple of days and it was well worth the read <3
Decent Wicca 101 book. If you are starting out I do recommend it!! I wanted to enjoy it more because I like Harmony's YouTube channel. The concert is gorgeous, the illustrations are lovely.
It just took me forever to read. Maybe just not my overall style and it's information I've read over and over again.
I enjoyed this book. A lot of sections were very relevant to my current path and gave me things to research and focus on. It focused more on women (which makes sense given the title), but made the effort to acknowledge that women are not the only ones that this information would be helpful for. I highly appreciate the list of resources, and the effort made to include resources from authors of color - with a special section for that information.
“There is no end to the journey of your Magick - you'll always have new things to learn and to challenge you - so remember that you're both capable and powerful. “
This book was an amazing read. Juliet Diaz is very thorough for a 101 book, and encourages you to find your own path while practicing responsibly. I appreciated the steps she took to use neutral terms for certain practices so as not to step on other culture's toes.
The only thing I'm a little sad about that I can't do more of the recipes and spells right of the bat, I'd have to find replacements for a lot of the ingredients, or wait until some of those ingredients came in stock. I highly recommend this book.
Thorn's guide on Traditional Wicca is both very thorough and easy to read. This book covers the basics of what Traditional Wicca is, and how to get started. There are also insights from other practitioners. I highly recommend this :)
I really enjoyed this book. The characters popped from the page, and I couldn't put it down. I liked looking into the different characters points of view, and the story progressed nicely. Some things were a tad predictable given the context, but it doesn't ruin the overall story.
