Another great book for my classroom library. Fun and adventurous, my boys will love it.
It took me a while to get into this book, but once I did, I really enjoyed it. A fun summer read.
This was a super quick read that I really wanted to enjoy. I've enjoyed Eddie's videos and as a teacher, relate to them. This book was too brief-I wish he had expanded on some of the topics more instead of glossing over them. He does have some good advice for teachers, both veteran and new.
Very enjoyable book aimed at parents, teachers and administrators. It had great advice for everyone. To me, the best part was then end where Mr. Brooks compiled lists of advice from other well know educators and administrators. I'd recommend this to all my educator friends.
Quick read. Good ideas for teaming in schools, especially schools getting started with teaming.
This was just okay for me. The narration drove me crazy, the characters weren't likeable but the plot was just interesting enough to keep me reading.
Cute, easy read. Will be a great addition to my classroom library and a fun read aloud with my students.
3.5 Stars. I usually enjoy Jodi Picoult but her past few books have not been as enjoyable as her earlier works. This book was very heavy on the Egyptology and quantum physics, to the point where I would skip over all the technical parts to get back to the story. The premise of the story was interesting but the execution failed. Once again, I didn't really like the main character. For me, this was an okay book.
I LOVED this book! It made me laugh, it made me cry. This was well written story of friendship and family. I felt like all characters were well developed and felt like I was watching Liz grow in person.
❤️❤️ I loved this book! It was a quick read but covered so many tough topics. A fun adventure filled story that at times brought tears to my eyes. A perfect addition to any upper elementary or middle school library. A book I will be recommending to my students.
Umm... WOW! Once again, Tiffany D. Jackson has written a powerful novel that explores some very touchy issues. This is another one of her novels that will stay with me and beg for a reread. The plot moves quickly and has many thrilling twists. I was truly questioning the outcome and the main character. A must read.
This was not my favorite book by Liane Moriarty. It was very slow for the first two thirds of the book and then got interesting in the last third. I didn't think there was much character development and they all remained static to me.
This was probably my favorite of the 3 books. The ending was a complete surprise! Good ending to a good triology.
This was a fun book to read. I felt it dragged on at times and didn't quite capture my interest as much as the first book.
This book is amazing! I fell in love with it-it made me laugh and cry. The characters are well developed, all of them no matter how big or small a role they played. Linus Baker's growth and change from start to finish was well written. Although Linus is the protagonist, Lucy and Chauncey totally stole my heart.
As I was reading (and giggling throughout) I told my husband I would have to buy my own copy, as this is a book to revisit when in need of some comfort or laughs.
This was such a wonderful book! I like how Ally grew and changed throughout. I'm hoping tonite it I. My classroom at some point-it'll be a great way to teach my students that having a disability is okay and that asking for help does not mean you're weak.
3.5 stars. Very much a character driven story and not a plot driven story. I tend to find that I lose interest faster when books are character driven. It also didn't help that the timeline jumped around, so it was hard to know if we were in the past or present. The plus was that I listened and enjoyed “hanging out” with Tom Hanks on my drive to and from work.
Great story. Slow to start but picked up in the second part. Loved the character growth and the world building. I've enjoyed all of Leigh Bardugo's books and can't wait to read the next installment.
