So far in this story I'm not liking Matt because when Alex ask him questions he brushes it off and Alex had every right to know about information about Matt's ex Claire since she was meeting her for the first time and I also I didn't like how he treated her thru out the book either. And Alex seems like me because she rather be in her pajamas then being bothered being out and Matt was very rude to Alex making rude comments about her and to her and I hope she knew that he was about talking on the phone whoever was on the other end. Both Posey and Scarlett were both annoying and also rude especially with Alex does Scarlett ever met Alex before meet the family trip and Scarlett doesn't really know what Alex does for a living without talking to her can't just guess and Matt and Claire should of yelled at Scarlett for making remarks about and to Alex instead of let her get away with it. I don't know how it this being paired to the christmas vacation I didn't see it and why does Claire have a problem with Patrick doing ironman if he wanted to do it he has every right to do it and the only two people I liked was Patrick and Alex for Matt and Claire and Scarlett I didn't like or care about those three and why blame Alex for shooting Patrick with the arrow she wasn't even thru to begin with.
I did not like this book because I found Sydney to be annoying and always walks right into Oliver's house without even knocking or ringing the door bell. And I don't like the girl who was doing the reading for Sydney her voice was annoying and talking like a valley girl and I am sure that Oliver could speak for himself Sydney doesn't need to speak for him there's nothing wrong with where he can't talk to people. Why is Sydney always barging into Gabe and Oliver's house do they do that to her when they go over to her house and she was very nosy and I found her to be a bit stalkerish I feel like with her. Why does the narrator need to speak in a whisper with every word that would come out of her mouth and I have to say this is a very slow pace book. Who would name their child Clementine when that name comes up I think of the fruit and also found her to be annoying also and I didn't like her either. When Gabe was warning Sydney about hurting Oliver she got pissed off about and Gabe had every right to protect his brother from getting hurt by someone who breaks men's hearts. And I had to agree with Clementine about her children being left with with someone she doesn't know and Sydney seems to care about herself and no one else. I didn't like how the guys reading for the female and the same thing for the female reading for the male's it's kinda annoying why can't they read in their normal voices? Even for the guy reading for Oliver sounds boring I am sorry that I am listening to as a audiobook and slow seems I should have read this instead of listening to this cause I didn't like Oliver's a d Sydney. I think that's what I am going to do is to finish reading it myself and good thing I didn't waste a credit for this or my money on buying the book. Does Sydney know how to wear pants especially when she went after her cat when it ran out o the house and her neighbor's didn't want to see her underwear and I am sorry that I gave this one 1 star in my opinion it wasn't good.
I didn't know that Joanna was bullied as child. Even thou I don't think I was ever bullied as a child in school but I was bullied by my grandmother who I didn't really care about or had a relationship with when she was alive cause I remember her always saying something about me or to me. The job that I am at now is the one job that I am loving then I was working in a spa which I really hated. But the in schools you don't have to worry about weekends, holidays, and having summer vacation or even snow days are always a pleasure. I do have a place where I want to get away from other people and of course being at work all day and having to week 5 days week and that escape is upstairs or if I am reading a book or going to the beach. Those are my happy places.
I don't know why Simone was so bitchy towards everyone especially to Star her half sister it's not like it's was Star's fault that she as the same father who also is the father of Maggie but she wasn't to nasty with her. And I didn't find this book very christmasy so I am giving this a 3 stars and I didn't like any of the characters dont' get me wrong this was my first book by this author I am sure that I would maybe her other books that she has out.
The first time I read this book but I only made it up till chapter 7 and stopped because I got sick at the end of February and I didn't want to read anything but when I was feeling better I felt like reading again so I restarted this one again at the end of March and it was the booktroop's book club pick for last year. I didn't really care for was Sarah or Lizzy whoever she went buy in the book and also her lazy husband Joe I thought he was not caring if Sarah went to him with some trouble but it seemed like he didn't want to help her out. But he was out cheating on her which didn't like at all but the both of them are good liars in their past. The only person that I liked and I felt bad when Sarah killed her was Emily and she was trying to help her and be a friend to her but she had to go and kill Emily for no reason and had a nerve to call herself Emily and now the poor kids and her husband are without a mother and a wife and I had to read with myself because I thought the narrator's voice was little annoying and I am giving this 3 stars.
So far one thing that I didn't like in one of the chapters on of the earlier ones I forgot which one it was in but anyway I didn't like where a little ducking got picked up by a crow and that didn't sit well with me at all. Why is the father of this girl an asshole and some parents want to have their kids close to home or not pushing them out of the house till they are ready to be on their own till at least kids figure out and have enough money to be on their own and apartment to live in. And it shouldn't be up to the parents to make up their children's minds on how they would live their lives and I didn't like this book or this story from beginning to the ending and also didn't like the part where animals were being used once about and this time they had to be locked in caged for some stupid party. Also I have found that Cassie was pretty annoying where if she was so worried about her period being late she should got checked out or took a pregnancy test and it was a good thing I didn't waste my money on being this one.
I didn't like Marian's father he was very controlling about how Marian wanted to follow her dreams for being a dancer and wanted her to live her life the way he wanted her to and marry someone and be a housewife. I didn't blame Marian's mother for leaving that not a happy place to be living in and leaving her children behind and that how Marian's mother saw her life passing by her and what she wanted to do to make Lucille happy. And Lucille was told by Marian's father not to go after her dreams and Lucille went after what she wanted to do not Simon and if I was Marian I would never stepped back into the house in Bronxsville the way Marian's treats and talks to her like she is a child. Simon didn't seem to really care about catching the person who killed his daughter instead of ignoring it I would be on everyone's case if someone who I love was killed making sure the killer deserve what's coming to them. Marian would be miserable if she was engaged and married to Nathaniel so her asshole of a father would be very happy. Marian finally found out what kind of person her father really was and Lucille was threated to keep away from Marian and her sister by her father and my father had Parkinson's and he wasn't never controlling or being nasty to people and I gave this a 4 stars.
I didn't like Margot very much thru out the book and I found her to be annoying and obessed with the death of her friend Eliza and she doesn't really know who Lucy was I also didn't like her either I also found Lucy to be weird. And Margot only thinks Levi is the one who was responsible for Eliza's death apparently is wasn't him that did it so Margot got that all wrong but she also didn't know what really happened to her. Margot seems to be really rude to her parents always avoiding to go home maybe they want to know what is going in her life and they are worried about her being around people she doesn't know. And Margot is going to be very sorry one day when her parents aren't around anymore.
How would Margot know if Levi did anything to Nicole since Margot was next door the whole time at a party I really couldn't Margot always to be stuck up and the world is at her feet and knows everything but she doesn't.
Why is it any Margot's business where Eliza got the money from and she doesn't have to know anything or do any digging I am sure that Eliza would never do anything like that to Margot if she passed away.
Seems like Lucy is the one not to trust since she doesn't exist going to the school there and lying about who she really was and Lucy sounded like was the one killed Levi but towards the end of the book it was Nicole's boyfriend bulling Levi to do things that he didn't want to do and I am gave this book a 3 1/2 stars.
In the book in this one chapter when they mention Casey Anthony's name when that case happened murdering her own daughter and she should have gotten life instead being out free. And I followed that case every single day when the news would talk about it and a popular I couldn't and still can't stand that woman. And I think Isabelle should have sit in a support group for losing Mason and Ben should have been there for his wife supporting her not ignoring her. Maybe Isabelle should changed the batteries in the baby monitor maybe se would had her answer about how Mason went missing and if my baby was missing the first person is to call the cops and not wait till middle of the day to call them and Ben seemed like he didn't care about Mason disappeared. And also find Margaret Isabelle's sister to be annoying and in some point in the book I didn't know that Margaret and Isabelle had another sister. And how can parents of 2 kids with no air conditioning and why would want to sleep next to someone when it was disgustingly hot out. And apparently Ben cheated on his wife with Isabelle she or should I say they both should be ashamed of themselves on what they were doing to Allison and apparently he was cheating and telling lies to Valerie about Isabelle and making her sound crazy and didn't want to be a mother. Ben deserved to be in jail for murdering Allison and Valerie had no right to give away Mason to someone else. I gave this book a 3 1/2 stars cause on how Isabelle changed my opinion on her for getting some kind of answers that she was finally got and another thing that I didn't like what Isabelle did how can she ignored her poor dog he needed to be taking care of but she was ignoring that. And also I didn't like how she was snooping into Waylon's things and another thing the story could of left out how a snake was getting killed I didn't need the full details about the poor thing I don't like snakes or any other kind of animal but I can't see myself killing it.
In the first chapter of this book seemed like Same was a stalker cause of all the information he had on Sadie and when they first met in the hospital where in the game room the boy at the time who was Sam and was playing Mario and I used to play that game all the time when I was little. And I didn't like how the chapters were in sections in the book and how the chapters have to start from chapter 1 again I wish that it just continued with the number of the chapters and cause I like to know how much longer I have to read the book. And why does all most every chapter like for example Sadie said and then Sam said and then Zoe said and so on? It was pretty annoying after saying the word “said” thru out the whole book. I have to say that for the pace of this book was slow to medium and don't get me wrong I like how it talked about Mario, Mario Kart, Mrs. Pac-Man, Tetris those were my games that I use to play all the time.
I wish I could find plane tickets for $76.00 for places I would like to go to instead paying over 1,000 dollars for airfare and also does Glenn know people are different when it comes to grief maybe Hannah didn't feel that close to her mother like I was to few people that have past on and what kind of name is Doghouse for a person but I found out it's only a nickname and I thought it was his real name but I give the guy credit for taking care for homeless puppies. And also I really didn't care for Glenn for going in on Hannah all the time especially the way she looked and making fun of her for it that I'm sure of that Hannah didn't need to hear she wasn't good enough or how she dresses he should of be glad that she wasn't sleeping around the office like Robby was or Bobby as Jack would call him and at least she there to work and if I was her I would of said that she quit for Glenn being an asshole towards her. I have to say that I really like Jack Stapleton he was pretty funny thru out the hole book but in one chapter when I thought he was being a jerk to Hannah but there was the stalkers ex-husband who had him in a situation and he was making fun of her how she was afraid of cows. I didn't want this book to end cause I was loving Jack and Hannah they both had me laughing thru out the story and I am so giving this books and story 5 stars but the only one I didn't like was Hank Jack's brother for telling Jack to leave the hospital after their mother passed out they have to get along for the mother's sake and I think the father should have stepped in to them to stop their fighting. All because of the stupid stalker the stalker thing had to come to an end for Jack and Hannah and Jack's family Connie did love Hannah if she wanted them to get married and sure enough they did ended up being together.
Even thou Heather was the same age as Tully and Rachel when their dad was telling his daughters he was engaged I would have to agree with Heather about just meeting with the daughters for the first time and she didn't even know the girls to well when Stephen should have met with Heather months ago or a year then throwing the bomb at them. And I didn't like how Stephen told Rachel and Tully that he would divorce their mother when he was getting engaged to someone else maybe he should of divorce her before she lost her mind to dementia it was not right to do that. I think Tully was pretty rude and why doesn't Tully want to tell anyone that she and her boyfriend or husband or whatever he was to Tully that they were having money trouble? Maybe Rachel care about her job and people who work for her I'm not really liking Tully in the first part of the book. I think Heather is right about Stephen abusing her cause why would he give her pills when she told him that she was pregnant and the pills were for miscarriage and I was surprised that he didn't kill Pam when she was pregnant with Tully and Rachel and he was trying to make Heather was crazy and losing her when she was accusing Stephen but in the of it all Heather wasn't crazy about all of it and it seems like he was abused Fiona and Pam as well and towards the end of the book I didn't see that ending coming. Where who had killed Stephen and I'm not going to spoil who had done it and I had a feeling about I was right about how he did to Fiona, Pam and now Heather I am glad that he got killed. And I am going to give this a 3 stars is cause I didn't like the narrators for Tully and I am glad Tully had the chance to change her life around from stealing to finding a job.
What would have happened if Maia would have had her period if she was faking to be a boy cause there is no way she would have avoid that and also what would she do if some girl starting to flirt with her and there is also way no one couldn't tell from a girl voice to a male voice and no one even notice that she had breast? They also say that lying is no good but they keep doing it and I also found Maia annoying always complaining about anything and everything and the pace for this book it was very slow and boring and I thought the narrator who was reading this book was annoying and why did she had to whisper when some parts of the words that came up the narrator had to do that and that annoyed me. And it was a good thing that I didn't waste my money on buying this book thank god for the library and I gave the first book in the series a 1 star.
I would have to say that this book had my full attention from the very beginning to the end and Ellis was very strong character in the book from being brave taking Ruby and Calvin's picture in the first chapter to being shot at from a mother who lose her child in accident that caused her to think that Ruby was her own child and she changed the name to Victoria. If it wasn't for Claire the housemaid god knows what would happened to the kids if she didn't speak up and letting Lilly know where Calvin ended up in a home and sent to another family who had him tied up in a barn if it wasn't for Lilly and Ellis for finding him. I gave this a 5 stars because of Ellis and Lilly
Why does Maia thinks it's ok to lie about anything and about what happened to Lady Sarnai they will find out the truth somehow and I thought this series was about being in competition it wasn't being talking about anymore thru out both of the books in the series. The first part of the book was first book was focus on the competition till the middle of the book and went to totally different direction and it was the same for the second book. Maia seemed to be very annoying in my opinion when it came to eating food always complaining about it or complaining about anything and everything and Master Tsring had every right to refuse to help her I wouldn't want to help her out either. I don't know how this series is about retellings cause I don't know what fairy tale this would be about and why does the narrator need to whisper every single word or sentences it was pretty annoying to me and she couldn't have read the book in a normal talking voice? And another thing that annoyed me about Maia how she would call her father Baba it sounds like a goat or a sheep that makes that sound or a little child asking for Baba which means bottle I am not ever going to pick up this book or series every again. Cause just like the first book I am going to give it another 1 star cause I really wished they focused on the sewing competition and not went on to another direction.
