I don't know if I didn't like this book because of the narrator or if the subject material didn't inspire me.
I know that there are a lot of people that aren't too happy with the change of Author, but I enjoyed it - was quite entertaining - not the same, but change is inevitable and constant and so I will give Andrew a chance to grow on me!
Wow, what an end to the series. I must say, I was really impressed with the way it finished. Personally, I hate finishing a series as after 12 books, I have really been into the characters, the world building, the plot and the general awesome storytelling. I hate to see it finish, but its a good finish - fantastic even.
I'm hooked on the author as well as the narrator and will really miss them both.
I initially started this audiobook a few months ago and didn't really like it that much (I think I got to chapter 2 or so). It just seemed so slow.
Well, I picked it up again recently and holy cow! Its amazing. I love the narrator and the voices and it just clicked for me this time around. I am steaming ahead for book two and I cannot wait.
It was a bit meh, this time around. I didn't enjoy the storyline, or maybe there was too much of a break between book 16 and this one.
This was a really good book. It built really well on Book 1 Rise of the Ranger. The character building is really well done and I am hooked.
It was a pretty good story so far, but not really worth the five stars I was hoping to give it to him.
A lot better than book three, thats for sure. But I wonder why didn't Reacher call the head of the FBI when he was in the poop with the FBI. I suppose it made “story sense” for it to happen as it happened.
I really enjoyed this book. I have read some people saying that it started off very slowly, but I was captivated and really enjoyed this book. Its very different from the masterpiece that was around Fitz-story. Very entertaining and I loved it.
I have really enjoyed this book and the entire series with a good re-read. It comes alive when you listen to it and I can highly recommend it.
The finale was awesome and the aftermath was also really good and tied up a number of things and the happy ending was awesome!
I thought that the book was really well done and it was amazing to come back to these characters and storyline. The only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars is that I felt that Fitz has done so much for the Farseer throne and is now in his 60's and still is not respected and listened to even though he has earned it. It makes the story work and thats what frustrated me enough not to give it 5 starts.
Wow, what a great book - so much better than the TV series. I almost stopped more than once (in the beginning), but its soooo good!
I really enjoyed this book - especially the progression that Lindon went through here - can't wait for Book 6!!
Loved this book, especially the interplay with some of the new characters. Loved the part where Garion interacts with the wolf and her pup - really good scenes and also the one where Durnik is presented as an official disciple of Aldur.
What an amazing series- I really love this series and the last book was absolutely amazing - what a finish!!!
