My other mother loved this series so I thought I'd keep going with it. I feel like it taught me more about my other-mother than it did about the author or the story. This quiet little Canadian town filled with salty older folks made me think my other-mother had a secret salty side she didn't often share.
While the book was a pleasant diversion, it was also the first time I figured out whodunit about halfway through the book and wondered why it took everyone else so long to figure it out.
