This was so touching. Definitely a book I will be sharing with my children someday.
Fred and his teddy bear stayed together even when Fred had to be separated from the rest of his family during WWII. It was his bear, Bear, who offered him comfort when his family had to leave him and flee because they were in danger of losing their lives due to intolerance of people who were Jewish.
Very moving story.
