I really enjoyed reading this, so much so that I hope it becomes a series involving our main character Criminal Investigator Horst Shenke.
Shenke is a likeable character who just wants to do his job without politics being dragged into it. A little difficult considering the current political situation he finds himself in.
Apart from the murder investigation providing tension, the political situation added its own set of tension to the story.
It was well written and had me gripped from start to finish.
Thank you to PH and Simon for the chance to read this book.
I would definitely recommend this if you like political crime thrillers.
