This is exactly as Mae advertises the book to be: The Mummy (movie 1999) in book form. But with a little spice!
The banter is there, the adventure, and the curse of the mummy. It's different, but familiar. I loved the myth and the mummy's curse, story in Guarded Treasure.
Oh, and the title! Works on so many levels! Very clever.
If you like spicy romance in an exotic setting, read this book!
