A shy ghost who can walk through walls and glow in the dark pursues a secret love for playing the violin while trying to bond with monster friends who cannot see him, before the Day of the Dead inspires him to share something he loves.

Such a darling story! Gustavo may be a little shy but he triumphs over his fears of talks to the other monsters, makes loads of friends, and has the best time of his little ghostly life! Beautifully illustrated and highly recommended :D
Gustavo loves to do most ghostly things, but he is very shy and doesn't know how to make friends. One day he decides to be brave and invite the other monsters to a violin concert. The worst happens; no one comes. But Gustavo plays his violin anyway, and the other monsters hear the wonderful music and see the happiness of Gustavo when he plays, and they all become friends.
A very realistic story about overcoming shyness.
