Fab read, couldn't put it down. A seemingly “normal” family who are all keeping secrets from each other. Great characters, fast-paced, suspenseful and meaningful. Infertility and DNA testing are part of the story.
Wow! This was an incredible read! Sandie Jones can sure weave a story line that keeps you guessing until the very end! Sure thought I had the ending for this book somewhat figured out, but things started changing. I got some prickling thoughts maybe I was on the wrong trail so that was a fun ride! I wasn't 100% certain I was right until the last 20 pages, or so. I'd recommend this book if you enjoy non-gory, page-turning domestic thrillers.
2.5 stars, if I'm being generous 2.75. For a large part of it I felt I was watching a soap opera when I had turned on the tv to see an action movie, so it was weird. There was a lot of drama and apparent depth in the sisters, and it was kind of obvious that something was off, but it took forever to be uncovered and I was almost uninterested by then. Honestly, to this point, if you ask me quickly whose daughter the girl is I will have to think.
