It was a bit difficult to listen to because it was hard to keep track of all the people. Maybe if I read a physical book, it would be easier to keep track of them.
It follows a pretty traditional plot lines, an American moves to a foreign country and builds a house. This one has the addition of family in the foreign country, Lebanon. Learning about the real lives of people there and the history of that part of the world was good.
Interesting history with lots of characters. Not the best I've read, but not awful.
