I Hate Fairyland, Vol. 1: Madly Ever After

This graphic novel is hilarious sarcastic work of art that all stories should be modeled after this way of writing. The main character never falls into cliches and the story always takes a path that you don't expect it to. A quick read but worth every second. And the art is a cheerfully gory mess that reminds me of old nickolodeon cartoons.

I really do enjoy [a:Skottie Young 62104 Skottie Young https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1355502093p2/62104.jpg]'s artwork in this. The plot was interesting as it followed a grown adult in a child's body because she has been on a quest for almost 30 years. While I did enjoy this graphic novel, I really don't care to see what happens next. If I come across Vol. 2 in a discount bin then I'll buy it.
