A good cozy mystery. I liked the setting. The characters were plesant. The cop boyfriend was mysterious and hard to understand, as they all are. So I'm glad he doesn't appear often in this book. The solution was hinted at, but not obvious. How she figured out the solution was a little convenient and the ‘big' clues weren't that big. The job as food critic was a new career and living on a houseboat was new to me. She talked a bit about the food, but I didn't hear much critic. However, that might be because I came in on book 7.
Enjoyable series. Pleasant characters. Good mystery. The clues could have been stronger and I'm over the cop boyfriend in the cozy mystey.
