I hate myself for not liking this book because so many people do. I did love the map of the world. I thought it was very large and a lot of detail vs other fantasy stories. I did not feel anything for the character nor think they were interesting and I at first I thought the humor was funny but after awhile it got old because I like serious adult fantasies. I guess I didn't care for the whole Monster Hunter type feel either.
