This was a great read! I specially enjoyed that the author was also the audiobook narrator. It was an engaging and funny space comedy for fans of the old Space Quest games as well as ‘Off to Be a Wizard' by Scott Meyer
I can't decide if this is absolute rubbish or an amusing SF spoof. It has a feel of Hitchhikers, but not as well written.
If you like a little bit of military humor, plans to save the world gone awry, a main character who messes everything up in the most SPECTACULARLY lucky way possible, and a droid who can't swear... This is the book for you! OK, the droid swears once!

No duty was too great that R. Wilson Rogers couldn't find a way to shirk it.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this from the Publisher in exchange for my honest comments on it – sorry for the delay, I greatly appreciate the book.
I thought Rogers was just a jerk but then the Viking showed up and insert character development Also at least two solid helplessly-laughing-out-loud moments on public transport.
*humourous military sci-fi
