Amelia Willoughby has been engaged to the Duke of Wyndham for as long as she can remember. Literally. A mere six months old when the contracts were signed, she has spent the rest of her life waiting. I really love the fact that both stories in this series don't happen one after the other, but instead they overlap and we get to see what happens from different points of view. There are also situations that we didn't completely understand in book one because we didn't have all the information. Of course, at that time we didn't know that we were missing something. It's only when we read the second book that we finally get the whole picture.
