Ex-detective Rembrandt Stone insists on traveling back in time to solve the one case that still haunts him. He solved the crime and saved lives, but he returned to find the unthinkable has happened and his life has shattered. To set things right, Stone is determined to go back in time once more, fix what went wrong, save what went right, and solve another brutal crime. It's not so easy to change time when time turns you into a target. And there is the strong possibility if he goes back again, he'll never return.

Rembrandt rocked his world when he traveled back in time in Cast the First Stone. There's just as much action as in the first book, and it's interesting to see how other people's personalities change because of Rem's actions. I just hope he loses some of his arrogance in future books.
