Staging is Murder

This is the first I have read by this author and it is the first of the series. I was curious if home staging could be a convincing business. And it was! I liked the details about her work that were sprinkled through the book. There were clues to several mysteries and I liked that too. I guessed a couple of them, but the murderer and a couple clues about them passed right by me. I liked looking back to see what I had missed after I found out who did it. I like Nita and her big family. I like the references to famous mystery series' and I like the false steps that Laura made as she was learning how to be a detective. I liked the unusual characters, like Sister Madeline and Madam Z. The solution to the mystery was more complex than I expected and I really liked that part. I will be checking back with this series to see what else Laura and Nita get up to.
