had it as a gift from a dear friend. Lovely book with a nice font and beautiful illustrations.
Just so so sweet. Really lovely sentiments about friendship and life and loving yourself. Given as a gift to my son from his grandparents.
Lovey little book about friendship and the importance of shifting ones outlook towards the world into a positive one. The drawings and the really pretty hand writing give this book a very unique charm. I will keep it handy and read it when I need it's positive messages again.
Nice art. I can appreciate that the author wanted to really stylize the reader's experience with the font choice but it was a miss for me.
Sweet. Idealistic. Full of quick quotes and good thoughts. I loved the audiobook performance. The narrator's accent fit perfectly–it felt like a guided meditation in the meadow.
I got this from a very good friend as a birthday present like the day after another friend had recommended it to me. The Universe was obviously conspiring to get me to read this phenomenal book.
Play Turning Page by Sleeping At Last whilst reading this. Thank me later.
I think this book is incredible sweet. The artwork is incredible. The best way to look at this book is its a book of art accompanied by sweet sayings.
This book is like a hug between a front and back cover. I love picking it up every so often and just opening it on a random page. It's just very wholesome and touching and moving and.. ..well, loving. Absolutely adore this book.
A quick read mostly about friendship with many nice drawings and a little text.
I just took it slowly, enjoying the drawings and trying to absorb some of the life lessons.
There is sheet music inside the covers. A jaunty little tune – I found it on YouTube. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fImFwjxCWws)
“Nothing beats kindness,' said the horse. ‘It sits quietly beyond all things.”
Hey, you. Yeah, you. The person reading this. Don't scroll. DON'T SCROLL. Read this.
Take 20 minutes of out of your busy schedule. Wheel of Time and Murakami will still be there later. Just take 20 minutes to appreciate this. And then give it to someone else.
Honestly, not much else to say. The quotes themselves inside the book are pretty “basic” like you'd find all over the internet. But packaged with the art and the writing style, it's simple but very effective. It'll put a smile on your face. I have a dead, shriveled heart, and it put a smile on mine.
