Really great look into Fred Johnson and what has made him into the character we see in the main series! Really enjoyed this
Nothing particularly remarkable about this short novella, but it does provide some crucial background for Fred who you meet in the first book.
This is a good back story for big fans of The Expanse series. It's not necessary to read, but it's worth it if you have a little bit of extra time. It doesn't leave a huge lasting impact though.
