if you're looking for a predictable, happy, thoughtless beach read this may be right up your alley. i really wanted to like this book, but the whole thing felt hokey and i never gained any sense of emotion for the characters, not even a mild dislike of the ‘bad' guys. it was super cutesy and read like a bad tv movie.
Characters that you grow to love and care about. At times, it stretches reality, but I don't mind that in the least. I like these people and this place. Pleasant and refreshing.
