The Number One Bestseller. Amos Decker, David Baldacci's unique special agent with the gift of a remarkable memory, returns in The Fallen. Small towns which have seen better times are not unusual. But the mysterious events in Baronville, Pennsylvania, are raising the highly-tuned antennae of agent Amos Decker and his FBI partner, Alex Jamison. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turns into a murder investigation when two bodies are found in a nearby deserted house. With the body count rising, Decker and Jamison dig deep to uncover a sinister truth in Baronville, which could be the canary in the coal mine for the rest of the country. But even the duo’s skills and Amos Decker’s infallible memory may not be enough to save the town, or them, from becoming the next victims. The fourth title in the Amos Decker crime series, following the bestselling Memory Man, The Last Mile and The Fix. Continue the series with Redemption.

I'm a new David Baldacci reader. The Memory Man series seems to be a great start. His characters from Decker and Jamison to the various supporting characters are great.
The Fallen is #4 in David Baldacci's series about Amos Decker. I loved it as much as the previous three. Amos gets under your skin. While he can be annoying and gruff, he is a compelling character representing the good guy. In each book, Amos has gotten more and more “human” after the devastation of losing his family, retold in the first book. For those Baldacci fans this is a good one and relevant to the times as it's focus is the drug epidemic and the effect it has on small town America.
This was another brilliant read by David Baldacci! I can't believe I've never picked up any of his books before now! This is only the second book I've read by him!
As I said at the start of the review, this was a brilliant read, with great fast paced action. A definite page turner, that kept me up reading until 6 in the morning (Oops! Shh, don't tell anyone!).
I love the Decker/Jamison team, although she really gets frustrated with him at times. But, still, despite that I love how they totally have each others back. Another thing I loved in this book was the way Decker was there for Zoe (Jamison's six year old niece). I loved the little scenes between Decker and Zoe.
Great read and I would highly recommend it to others.
