I'm a new David Baldacci reader. The Memory Man series seems to be a great start. His characters from Decker and Jamison to the various supporting characters are great.
This was another brilliant read by David Baldacci! I can't believe I've never picked up any of his books before now! This is only the second book I've read by him!
As I said at the start of the review, this was a brilliant read, with great fast paced action. A definite page turner, that kept me up reading until 6 in the morning (Oops! Shh, don't tell anyone!).
I love the Decker/Jamison team, although she really gets frustrated with him at times. But, still, despite that I love how they totally have each others back. Another thing I loved in this book was the way Decker was there for Zoe (Jamison's six year old niece). I loved the little scenes between Decker and Zoe.
Great read and I would highly recommend it to others.
Another great read in this series. Didn't focus on the whole team in this book, just Amos and Alex who were on vacation visiting Alex's sister. Just a case of being in the right place at the right time and boom they're involved in a new case, even though they are on holiday! I thought the rapport he had with Alex's six year old niece was very cute! It's got twists and turns along the way and exciting from start to finish!
I was really into the potential story but the execution was lacking. When the bad guys spend 30 minutes just telling Decker about their whole plan and who did each step DURING arrest, its just lazy writing.
Took longer to get where it was going than normal but still good.
