4.5. I love a good character-centered book and this was a really good character-centered book. I adored Sophia and Antonia's friendship. Their relationship was realistic which made it all the more rich, especially given their bonds from childhood. It's more domestic than a gritty mafia story which I liked. It took a little bit to get used to the pacing and changes in POVs, but it became a rhythm after a while.
