Another visit to Key West! This time the island was so full because New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are big holidays there. There were little details that made you feel how crowded it was. Honestly, I felt a little uncomfortable.
Nathan was busy keeping people safe and then he had to solve the murder also. It's a good thing Hayley and his mom were helping him. Hayley was running around the island eating every Key Lime thing in existence while interviewing suspects. There are some good suspects, but the solution is more personal than I expected. I'm hoping we see the story beat come back in future books. It feels like there is more to develop there.
The development of Hayley and her mother in law was better than I expected. It did not follow any typical tropes. It was much better. I think that might have been my favorite part of this one.
