I don't even know how to review this. But I will say it was definitely better in terms of editing than Twilight ever was. I will also say that I found the name/gender changes to be very distracting. Part of it was how ridiculous the names were, at least in the original series the names were semi-common. I think with this she wanted similar but also went way too out there.
It's basically a retelling of the first book but with the boy being human and the girl being the vampire (with different names). I had hoped that it would be the story of the daughter from book 4, it wasn't. I am glad I borrowed it from my local library.
This rating is only for Life And Death. I'll mark Twilight as currently reading so it will count as my second reread.
I liked this retelling.
