Weerom een spannende, verrassende thriller dat uitermate vlot leest. Alleen vond ik dat Corrie te vaak domme, zelfzuchtige beslissingen nam, waardoor ik meermaals luidop “Gij domme kalle.” heb gezegd. Maar verder van derest heb ik het boek heel graag gelezen. Het extra element van het Sherlock Holmesverhaal vond ik heel leuk en goed gevonden.
Always love a good Pendergast book. This doesn't disappoint as I couldn't put it down as I got further and further into it. I liked the historical connections. It wasn't as much horror as some of the previous books which was fine with me.
