I've been a bit disappointed with some of the thrillers I've read lately, so I wasn't sure what to expect going into this one. Y'all... This book was SO good! One thing I really dislike is when thrillers take too long to get the action going and you have to slog through 200 pages just to get to the “twist.” Who Is Maud Dixon? is super fast-paced and engrossing right from the start, and I flew through it in just two days. It's one of the few books that was unputdownable for me. I also liked that it only followed one protagonist's POV and didn't rely on the unreliable narrator trope. Even though you get a pretty good idea of where the story is going in the second act, the third act was just one twist after another. If you enjoy thrillers, I highly recommend this one. It's hard to believe this is a debut novel and I can't wait to read more from Alexandra Andrews.
