I got this in an Owlcrate box and I do not think I ever would have read it otherwise. This graphic novel had a great premise and I loved the characters but the story itself left much to be desired and I really didn't like the art style. Because I didn't like the art, I struggled with the rest of the story. Plus this is an incomplete comic/novel. You are left having no idea what happens.
The art is great and the story and universe original. But for a reason I can't really explain I just didn't fell in love with the story.
I would perfectly understand that people find it exceptional but I just forced a bit myself to read the end of it to be honest.
i enjoyed the world and magic but there wasn't much explanation of it and i wanted more because as of now i don't have a clear idea of it. the plot dragged a bit and i wish more happened but i also enjoyed the art style

De tekeningen zijn niet helemaal mijn ding, maar wel knap gedaan.
Het verhaal toont heel veel boeiende elementen, maar het was soms wat verwarrend. Ook was het boek nogal kort om er echt in te komen en eindigt nogal botsbollig. Geen idee of er nog een vervolg komt, maar het einde doet vermoeden van wel. Indien niet, is het toch een beetje verloren moeite...
