The beginning of this book played out almost exactly liked the movie. It started to get interesting about 200 pages in. The story took a dark turn, but I was left almost unsatisfied in the end. Four stars because this happens to be my favorite Disney movie.

I love Disney's Beauty and the Beast and I really liked the twist, but I disliked the writing style. I found it lacking.
Trage starter in vergelijk met a new world, maar eens goed gestart een heel fijn verhaal. De originele elementen uit Belle en het beest komen uiteraard terug. Maar ik vind het een verassend einde. En ben erg blij dat ik de eerste hoofdstukken heb doorgezet.
