No, not that Hawkeye - your favorite Hawkeye, the former Young Avenger, the butt-kicking hero who had to save that other Hawkguy all the time and basically keep his life in some semblance of order. Yup, you know her, it's the dazzling Kate Bishop - making her solo comics debut! Kate is heading back out west and returning to Los Angeles, with her bow and arrow and P.I. badge in tow. There are crimes to solve and she's the best archer to handle 'em! The City of Angels has a new guardian angel. This is Kate Bishop like you've never seen her before, in a brand-new saga that really hits the mark! Collecting: Hawkeye 1-6.

Funny that I just finished Mockingbird vol 2 where Clint Barton is also a character almost never seen, but still very much present in the books. Personally, I'm just as happy if Barton never does make an actual appearance and happy to say Kate Bishop has been, and will always be, MY Hawkeye.
This was fine? IDK, the more I think about it, the more I don't love the storyline of technologically brainwashing bros into being even more toxic-masculinity-ish? Like...IDK...that's just the internet
Also it didn't quite have the same lighthearted-yet-earnest, recovering-spoiled-girl, actually-badass vibe I expect and so appreciate from Kate?
I did love Jessica Jones' appearance but then it just sort of reminded me of like......how much more I like Jessica Jones' detective comics series than this?
the arrival of Lucky at the end is a good sign for the future tho
