This is listed as the first book in the Knitting in the City series. The main character attends a knitting group but does not knit. Annoying? Yeah, a little bit.
There's a lot to like about this contemporary romance but then there are a couple things that were downright annoying. I appreciated the development of strong friendships but the sub-plot-of-danger was sort of swept under the rug at the end. I mean, c'mon, some sort of resolution would have been nice other than “I took care of it”. Sheesh.
The main character is nerdy, a bit on the spectrum, reads comics and lives in Chicago. So, that gained the book a whole star right there. But there were other things that were a bit..meh.
