Once again, I was pretty excited to get approved for an advanced copy of the second book in this series. Overall, I enjoyed this and it moved at a pretty fast pace. Tbh I wish she ended up with a different person :P but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I'm sad the series is over!

I really wanted to love this more than I did, but I think magician stories just aren't for me. I really enjoyed the setting, romance, and plot line in the first book but this book took it to a place I was pretty disappointed in. While the setting was interesting, the main character felt a little flat to me and the ending was just ok.
